Eye Opener!Great information, lots of common sense sales management, but a few surprises regarding how the industry works. If I had a complaint it would be that Evan & Dallas would often respond to something they read in the chats without repeating it to the audience, so we wouldn't know what they were talking about or responding to. But otherwise, good stuff, thank you!

Absolutely a must-haveIf you want to secure gigs after gigs that's the way to go. I was sceptical at the beginning but just following these rules I was able to secure 5 gigs in a month. And helps to create a network of prople that calls you again for other projects (of course if they like the way you work). Absolutely reconmended to anyone that is serious about film scoring.

Experience talks!Okay, I won't lie, I'm still studying it right now, but I've been half way in the course(had so much to do recently, gigs included) and what I can say is that it's probably the most serious, experience/experiment based, clear, insightful and informative course I've been following!

Evan gives us a clear course based on his long experience resulting from years of technique development/experimentation/elaboration and experience in the "getting gigs" problem we all have to face when we start( but not only, I suppose).
He first deconstructs all the things we think we know about this and techniques we think that works. He details why those don't actually work(or work enough to get the fridge full and the rent paid every months...) and then goes in some kind of demystification/reconstruction process so you really understand all the actual work that's required to actually get gigs! You learn more in this course than in any book!

The informations present here are precious!
A great method, clearly explained! Couldn't ask for a better course!

Thanks a lot for this, master!

One of the best investments I ve ever done!Evan is an excellent teacher and this is the perfect course to give names to the things we all know about, but also to discover a whole new world of filmscoring, the one and the only that offers you realistic approach to the business itself. One of the turning points in my career as a composer without any doubt.

MindbombAn alternate approach to how we all think the industry works.
I must admit that being a marketing skeptic, I was a bit suspicious by the words "proven method" on such a broad and subjective field such as job hunting, but it turns out itĀ“s just that.
The huge experience with the Composer Collective indeed makes it qualify as a proven method, but also when you start hearing about it, it just makes sense.

Evan isn`t teaching us something from another world that only he knows. I`m sure there isnĀ“t anything in this course that we wouldn`t have learned by ourselves through experience, but the sheer amount of experience that Evan unleashes in this course could potentially save you 10 or 20 years of trial and error trying to figure them out by yourself.

Furthering your career a decade or two for 200 bucks? I`ll take that deal any day.

Top Quality "From the Trenches" InstructionThis course was absolutely worth it. Evan discusses the realities of the film industry, and how a movie is actually created. He then gives real, actionable strategies to approach film and television makers, along with insight on where to find them. There are no shortcuts in this industry, you have to work, but Evan shows you how to make your work effective work, and the path to getting you gigs. Double thumbs up!

"Teach a man to fish"What do you have to do to get film scoring (or TV, commercial, trailers, video game) jobs? Talent by itself is not going to guarantee you get work. You need a proven process. You need support. You need to know what to do, how to do it, what not to do, what gives you the best chance to get jobs and how to continue to get them for your entire working life. This course gives you the information, tools and system to do just that. It is eye opening.

If you are really interested in this field, this is the best money you will ever spend as you will not find this information in books. You will not find a successful composer so open and willing to share the secrets of this trade to help his fellow composers. On top of all that you get to continue discussions and have mentorship in this area for a year. Bottom line: If you do not take this course you are limiting your potential and chances to succeed in this career. Thank you Evan for ā€œTeaching a man to fishā€ in this business!

fast track your path to successNothing has more of an impact on getting where you want to be faster, than learning from someone who's already been there and lived it themselves. Taking Evanā€™s courses will not only fast track your path to success, but give you the confidence you need by helping you visualize more clearly. This is the value Iā€™ve gotten from taking Evan Evanā€™s courses.
